Dog & Cat Water Fountains, Filters & Home Protection

A pet drinks more readily from moving water than from a standing bowl, and a fountain only keeps that up while the filter is fresh. The water side of this collection runs in two sizes: a 5 L stainless-steel cat water fountain with a motion sensor that starts the flow when a cat comes within about 2.6 ft, and a 2.64-gallon (10 L) automatic dog water dispenser for large breeds and multi-pet homes, in an all-stainless model and a black plastic-body model with a 304 stainless bowl. All three run a cordless 4,000 mAh pump under 25 dB, with sensor, timer and continuous flow modes. Replacement filters are stocked for both sizes — 6-packs of 100% activated carbon, changed every three to four weeks.

Cats do not scratch the whole room; they work the edges of the territory they own, which is why the damage turns up in the same few places. The cat scratch furniture protectors here are sold by the part of the house they cover: a clear cat couch protector in 15.7 × 118.1 in and 236.2 in rolls plus pre-cut sticker sheets, a matte version for anyone who finds gloss film catches the light, a 24 × 120 in roll for doors, a narrower 7.5 × 120 in roll shaped for a windowsill, and a felt cat scratch mat that gives the cat a surface to use rather than blocking it outright.

Two more jobs are about the house rather than the pet. If your dog barks at everything passing the front window, a frosted static cling window film takes the sightline away at dog height while daylight still comes through — no glue, so it lifts off the glass without residue. And if most of what goes in the machine is dog bedding, pet safe laundry detergent sheets drop straight into the drum: fragrance-free, dye-free, bleach-free, with a protease enzyme that breaks urine, saliva and body oil down instead of scenting over them.
