How is this different from double-sided sticky sheets?
The adhesive is on the back only. Double-sided tape leaves a sticky top layer that traps hair and dust, crinkles up, and sticks to itself. These lie flat and stay clear — the cat just meets a smooth surface and gives up.
How many sheets do I get, and how do I cut them to fit?
Choose 10 sheets (eight 17×12-in plus two 17×6-in) or the 20-sheet value pack (fourteen 17×12-in plus six 17×6-in). The release liner is printed with a measuring grid, so just measure your area and cut along the grid lines to any size or shape — armrests and corners included.
What surfaces can I use it on?
It works on most fabric upholstery — polyester, cotton, acetate and acrylic sofas and furniture. It's not recommended for velvet, faux fur, microfiber or leather, where the strong adhesive may not bond well or may mark the surface.
Will my cat scratch through it?
The film is a thick 0.075 mm transparent PET that stands up to everyday clawing and resists being scratched through, shielding the fabric underneath so your cat loses interest.
Will it leave sticky residue when I peel it off?
The reinforced adhesive is designed to hold firmly for one-time use. If you need to remove it, lift slowly from one corner; warming the edges with a hair dryer first softens the adhesive and helps it come off more cleanly. It cannot be repositioned or reused, so place each sheet carefully the first time.
