Matte Finish, No Mirror Shine — and a Barrier Your Cat Can't Claw Through.
Matte, low-glare finish — reflects far less light than a glossy protector, so it blends quietly into your upholstery instead of catching the eye.
Heavy-duty 0.075 mm PET film resists daily scratching and protects upholstered sofas, couches, and furniture from claw damage.
Peel and stick in seconds — no tools, no drilling, no complicated setup. A smoothing tool is included to press out air bubbles.
A printed grid on the release liner makes it easy to measure and cut the film to the exact size you need for any surface or corner.
Single-sided adhesive holds securely on most fabric sofas — the outward-facing surface stays smooth and non-sticky, and it's designed to remove cleanly when used as directed.

How It Works

A barrier they can't grip

The 0.075 mm clear PET film forms a slick layer claws can't sink into, so your cat can't reach the fabric underneath and loses interest.

A matte surface that hides

The low-gloss top layer scatters light instead of mirroring it, so the film reads as part of the fabric rather than a shiny patch across your sofa.

Use it on

Sofas & couches
Chairs & seating
Armrests & other furniture

Fabric upholstery — polyester, cotton, acetate & acrylic (not recommended for velvet, faux fur, microfiber & leather — test a hidden patch first)

Smooth hard surfaces too — wood, tile, glass, metal & painted walls (banisters, door frames & window sills). Apply to clean, dry, intact surfaces indoors.

FAQ

How is this different from the clear glossy version?

Same 0.075 mm PET film and same adhesive — the difference is the surface. This one has a matte, low-gloss finish, so it reflects far less light than a glossy protector and blends in more quietly with your upholstery. It's still a clear film — you can see the fabric through it — just without the mirror-like shine.

Which length should I choose?

The 118 in roll (15.7 x 118 in) suits a single sofa side, a bench or a set of armrests — measure before you cut, since a long piece can use a good portion of the roll. The 236 in roll (15.7 x 236 in) is double the length, for a full sofa front plus arms or several pieces of furniture, so you're less likely to run short mid-project.

How do I apply it without bubbles or lifting edges?

Start with a surface that is clean and completely dry. Peel back one corner of the liner, line the film up, then work across it with the included smoothing tool, pressing from the center outward to push the air out. Wrap and press firmly around armrests and corners — most lifting traces back to skipping that step, or applying over a damp, dusty or textured spot.

Is this double-sided tape?

No — it's a single-sided protector film. The sticky side goes against your furniture; the outer side is a smooth, thick PET surface that helps stand up to claws. Nothing sticks to the outside, so it won't trap dust or fur the way double-sided tape can.

What surfaces can I use it on?

It works on both soft and smooth hard surfaces. On fabric, use it on polyester, cotton, acetate, and acrylic upholstery (not recommended for velvet, faux fur, microfiber, or leather — if you want to try those, test a small hidden patch first). It also sticks to smooth, clean, dry hard surfaces like wood, tile, glass, metal, and painted walls — think banisters, door frames, and window sills. Apply indoors to intact surfaces, and avoid damaged, damp, or uneven areas where the adhesive may not bond well.

How do I cut it to fit my sofa?

The release liner is printed with a measuring grid — just measure your area and cut along the grid lines to any size or shape, including armrests and corners. No tools needed beyond scissors.

Will my cat scratch through it?

The film is a thick 0.075 mm PET that stands up to everyday clawing and resists being scratched through, shielding the fabric underneath so your cat loses interest.

Will it leave sticky residue when I peel it off?

Not when removed correctly. Before peeling, warm the edges with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive, then lift slowly from one corner — it comes off cleanly without residue or damage to your sofa. (Peeling cold or forcing it may leave residue.)

Can I reposition or reuse it after sticking?

No — the reinforced adhesive is designed to hold firmly and cannot be repositioned or reapplied. Measure and place it carefully the first time; it's intended for one-time application.
