What kind of doors does it work on?
It's made for smooth, clean, dry door surfaces. Wipe the door down and make sure it's fully dry before applying; avoid freshly painted, damp or damaged surfaces, where the adhesive may not bond well or may lift the finish.
How do I cut it to fit my door?
The release liner is printed with a measuring grid — just measure your door and cut along the grid lines to any size or shape, whether that's the whole door, the lower half, or the frame.
Will my cat or dog scratch through it?
The film is a thick 0.075 mm transparent PET that stands up to everyday clawing from both cats and dogs and resists being scratched through, shielding the door underneath so your pet loses interest.
Do I need any tools to apply it?
A smoothing scraper is included. Peel the backing, line it up, and use the scraper to press from the center outward and push out air bubbles for a clean, flat finish.
Will it leave sticky residue when I peel it off?
The reinforced adhesive is designed to hold firmly for one-time use. If you need to remove it, lift slowly from one corner; warming the edges with a hair dryer first softens the adhesive and helps it come off more cleanly.
