Most vacuums leave the real problem untouched — the pet hair that's worked deep into carpet fibers and won't budge with suction alone. The Dual-Sided Carpet Rake was built for exactly that job.
A wide metal-and-rubber edge reaches into carpet pile to pull out trapped hair in one raking motion. For knitted fabrics, delicate rugs, or anything that needs a gentler touch, flip to the all-rubber side — it gently gathers surface hair without snagging threads or pulling loops. Three sections screw together to extend the handle up to 137 cm (54 in), so you work floors, stairs, and low rugs at a comfortable height — no bending required. Rake. Collect. Rinse. Reuse.
- Two sides, two jobs — the metal-and-rubber side pulls embedded hair out of carpets and rugs; the all-rubber side safely lifts hair from knitted and delicate fabrics.
- The metal edge digs deep to pull trapped dog and cat hair out of carpet that vacuums leave behind.
- Screw-together 3-section handle adjusts to your height for a steady, comfortable reach across carpets, rugs, and stairs.
- No batteries, cords, or sticky refills — just rake, collect, rinse, and reuse, cleanup after cleanup.
- Built for multi-pet homes, heavy shedding seasons, and long-haired breeds, with strong hair-lifting on carpets, rugs, and stairs every pass.
Works Best On
Designed for large and medium-area surfaces: carpets, rugs, and carpeted stairs. The metal-and-rubber side handles dense carpet pile and embedded hair; the all-rubber side is safe for knitted fabrics, delicate rugs, and softer surfaces.
Not recommended on the metal side: silk, velvet, chenille, satin, leather, suede, or microfiber. For these fabrics, use the all-rubber side only.
How to Use
- Assemble: Screw the 3 handle sections together to your preferred length (up to 137 cm / 54 in).
- Choose your side: Metal-and-rubber edge for carpet and rugs. All-rubber side for knitted or delicate fabrics. Always test on a hidden spot first.
- Rake in one direction: Short, consistent strokes — hair gathers into clumps as you go.
- Collect and rinse: Pick up the hair clumps, rinse the rake head under tap water, let dry. Ready for next round — no parts to replace.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it damage my carpets or rugs?
No. It's designed for carpets, rugs, and carpeted stairs. Use the metal-and-rubber side to lift deeply embedded hair, raking in one direction. As with any cleaning tool, do a light test on a hidden spot first.
Can I use it on delicate or knitted fabrics?
Yes — use the all-rubber side, which is made for knitted and delicate fabrics (silk, velvet, cashmere, microfiber, and more). Don't use the metal side on these; the metal side is for carpets and rugs only.
Does it need batteries, cords, or refills?
None. It's fully reusable — rake, collect, rinse, and reuse. No batteries, no sticky sheets.
How do I set up the handle?
The handle comes in 3 sections that screw together. Add as many as you need for a comfortable reach, up to 137 cm — great for floors, rugs, and stairs without bending.
What does it work best on?
Large and medium areas — carpets, rugs, and carpeted stairs — for both quick touch-ups and deep, embedded pet hair.
