Fido Fave oak-handle deshedding brush beside a golden retriever and grey cat

New in August: Four Additions to the Fido Fave Range

Four new products went live on fidofave.com today: a deshedding brush with a curved stainless-steel blade and an oak handle, two new colors of our double-sided undercoat rake, and a felt scratch mat that protects furniture while giving cats something better to claw. All four are listed on our site now.

Deshedding Brush with Oak Handle

The Fido Fave Deshedding Brush pairs a single curved stainless-steel blade with a contoured oak handle. The blade carries 115 fine teeth across a 4.9 in (12.5 cm) working width, and the two faces are cut to different depths. The side marked with our logo is 0.3 in (0.8 cm) deep for a gentler first pass; the reverse side is 0.16 in (0.4 cm) deep for a firmer pass once a pet is used to the tool. It is designed for dogs and cats with short, medium, or long coats, and each brush ships with a printed instruction sheet.

Double-Sided Undercoat Rake, Now in Green and Purple

Our Double-Sided Undercoat Rake has been one of the most-purchased tools we make. Until now it came in red, blue, and black. Green and purple join the range today. The tool itself is unchanged: a 2.8 in (7 cm) extra-wide head with nine stainless-steel teeth on one side for mats and tangles, and seventeen on the other for loose undercoat, on a non-slip rubber handle. The two new colors are listed now, and the first shipment is on its way to our US warehouse.

Cat Scratch Mat

The Fido Fave Cat Scratch Mat is a self-adhesive felt roll, 15.7 x 118.1 in (40 x 300 cm), that does two jobs. Applied to a sofa arm, a wall, a door, or a cat tree, the 0.16 in (4 mm) felt over a foam backing absorbs everyday clawing. Laid flat or stuck where a cat already scratches, it works as a scratch pad in its own right. The grid-printed release liner trims to size with scissors, and the one-time hot-melt adhesive holds on painted walls, smooth wallpaper, tile, wood, metal, glass, and most woven upholstery without pins or tape. It is not recommended for velvet, faux, microfiber, or leather.

Why these four

Each one answers something we hear often from the people who buy from us: a deshedding tool that stays comfortable through a long session, more color choices for a rake that many households already own, and a way to protect furniture that does not punish the cat for being a cat. Every product page carries the full specifications and, where we have them, verified reviews.
