Thank You: 20,000 Pet Families and Counting

Between January 2025 and August 2026, more than 20,000 households in the United States bought a Fido Fave product. We wanted to say thank you, and to explain how we count.

How we got to the number

We counted unique shipping addresses across the stores that carry Fido Fave, including Chewy, Walmart.com, Wayfair, and our own site, then removed duplicates across stores. One household that ordered three times counts once. The total came to just over 21,000, which we round down to 20,000 when we write it on the site. It is not the number of orders, and it is not the number of reviews; both of those would be a different figure.

What it means to a small team

Fido Fave is a small company. Most of the people who buy our brushes, hair removers, and pet care tools will never meet us, so the only conversation we get to have with them is through the product itself and through the reviews they leave afterwards. Those reviews are where our product decisions come from. The cat brush we developed ourselves started as a list of complaints about the brushes we were already selling. Today the brand holds a 4.5-star average on Chewy across the products currently listed there.

What we are doing with it

Two things, mostly. First, we keep the number honest. The figure on our homepage and collection pages is the one described above, and we will update it when we recount, not before. Second, we are putting the products in front of more of the retailers who know these families by name. Earlier this summer we opened a wholesale program for independent pet stores, groomers, and boutiques, so a brush someone read about online can also be picked up on a local shelf.

To everyone who has bought from us, left a review, or sent an email with a suggestion: thank you. We read all of it.
